The Yellow Tree In Fall
I am watching a yellow tree
Waver in the wind
You can’t hold nothing
Except a good friend

Leaves will change color
They’ll fall to the ground
They'll regrow in the spring
This is the merry go round

At one time I loved you
You were my stars and my zoom
You were my sun and cocky ocean
You were Looney Tune cartoons

Today you sit beside me
Asking, could we again?
I still love dark chocolate
I recognize an old friend

So you scold than you hold me
I give and I take
At the end of the fall
We’ll both get out rakes

I am watching that yellow tree
As her leaves cascade down
She can’t help repeating
Nature’s rebounds

So fall baby fall
Play dead on the ground
Then rise with the spring
With green friends all around

Love is eternal
It hides and it seeks
It rushes and runs
Makes strong appear weak

But to open your soul
Let another one peak
Is free-fall living
Is long-life drink

So I love in springtime
So I love in fall
So I love who's beside me
All naked and small

I’m looking at the yellow tree
Her veins can be seen
She’s lived many seasons
She’s reason to me
